Anne Hayfield is a consultant with over 30 years experience of equality, diversity and inclusion.

Her work is on two levels:
Level one is working with organisations to create the conditions where the power of diversity is harnessed to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

Level two is empowering those from traditionally disadvantaged groups so that the potential of all staff is realised.

Anne has worked with a wide range or organisations in the private, public and voluntary sectors providing consultancy and training.

Anne’s work is now recognised as having historical significance. She was interviewed for the entertaining and somewhat esoteric “Lefties – Angry Wimmin” a BBC documentary about the politics of the 70s and 80s.

Her work at Lesbian and Gay Employment Rights (LAGER) and “We Are Here – black feminist newsletter” is profiled in The London LGBT Almanac 2nd Edition (2012) available from Centred website ( formerly known as Kairos). Her time as a Board member of the Black Lesbian and Gay Centre is highlighted  in a  feature length documentary called “Under Your Nose” about the black and minority ethnic LGBT community in the UK and what we achieved in the 80s and 90s. This is being made by  Veronica McKenzie of “Reelbritproductions”.

Anne has also been interviewed for by Jess Baines who is doing a PhD about the radical print shops of the early 80s her interview covered the time Anne worked at “Women in Print”.
